Eating ketchup every day can cut cholesterol levels. Volunteers were asked to use liberal helpings of ketchup with three daily meals for a period of three weeks. At the end of the three week study total cholesterol levels dropped by 6%, and LDL or "bad cholesterol levels dropped by almost 13%, according to researchers at Finland's University of Ohio.
